One such inclusion is the ‘An Eye for an Eye’ mini-campaign map, covering 52 regions and featuring rival Beastman factions, a few Greenskins, and Boris Todbringer’s Imperial forces. Now to be fair, the intention seems to be to tell the story, not just drop you in the setting and let you go. A few months earlier, Boris had learned he was father to another son, Heinrich, born to a lady-at-court. The latter is Baron Stefan Todbringer (Boris’ first wife died giving birth to him), who was named heir to his father’s title the day after he was born. This liberalism might seem odd in a fortress city. The last years of Graf Boris were full of whispered rumours that personal and political problems weighed heavily on his mind.
There are unconfirmed rumours that Heinrich was conceived the night before the Graf's marriage to Maria.Baron Stefan was named the Graf's heir a day after his birth. Never before in a Total War mini-campaign were we ever so restricted as to play only It does not make sense to use a rival vs. rival story as the backdrop for "An Eye for an Eye," if you will not even bother to include the archnemesis of Khazrak himself. Agreed! They are distant relatives of the von Bildhofen family, descendants of Gunthar von Bildhofen - brother of But the Graf’s enlightened approach to rulership has one important consequence to be highlighted now - Middenheim is, perhaps surprisingly, a rather liberal place. The presence of many scholarly people, and the relatively harmonious relations between races, also perpetuates the liberalism of Middenheim.Graf Boris is also closely linked to the minor province of Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Remarkably, this Svengali-like character managed to stabilise the condition of Baron Stefan. In the Lore, Khazrak gets his eye cut out by Boris Todbringer's Runefang, and Khazrak sets out for revenge, as per this mini-campaign, to exact his vengeance and in turn gouge out the Elector's eye, painfully, which will result in Boris dropping a 10,000 gold bounty on Khazrak's head. I hear ya. Please make Boris Todbringer of Middenheim playable in the upcoming expansion Never before in a Total War mini-campaign were we ever so restricted as to play only one faction.
It surely has much to do with the fact that the Todbringers have, for many years, taken care to listen carefully to their people when making and enforcing laws.
This has proved to be a most unfortunate mistake, for Stefan has grown into a pitiful invalid.
A subreddit for the Total War strategy game series, made by Creative Assembly … Is it worth it? Certainly when Luigi was around, Stefan was remarkably docile. It's a cool story, so I can see why they might want to focus on what actually happened and not "Hey, Khazrak wants revenge, are you gonna help him or stop him?" From the moment I heard about An Eye for an Eye I wanted to play ol' Todbringer, mounting a defense of Middenland. I'd like to see the Huntsmarshal and his unit as a flc with this. However, if these rumours were true, Boris Todbringer was a determined man indeed, for outwardly he remained as vigorous as ever, a fearsome fighter and leader. What's the point of mini campaign if their are no other faction to play??
