He works days as the Prepress Manager/IT Coordinator for a printing company and has over 20 years of computer experience with both the Macintosh and Windows operating systems. There is no legal standing re: newspaper not allowing you to put a flier in it. That said, there are many boxes that are owned by the paper.

They may not like you doing that, but it isn't "illegal" in the sense of it being a matter the police would ever be involved in.
