If you have the 2 Large and 1 Huge as Pulse Lasers and 4 Rail Guns, you'll absolutely pulverize your opponents to oblivion in a few volleys.

Thanks for the answers, I already have my combat build sorted ;) It has the capacitor, damage PER successful burst, with the exact same statistic of a pulse laser… a Burst laser is 3 pulse laser shots-in one. They seem to have more consistent damage out to 1k despite having an earlier damage falloff start, and if you go for effecient pulse, you can usually keep them fed with only 1 pip into weapons except incases where you have a woefully underclass Distributor (Like in Cargo ships and some multirole ships) . Pulse laser: More efficient, less power use, lower heat, lower cost and higher dpe. at least in some areas. They are amazing. But they are not using your power distributor efficiently, and are good if your target is out of range before your distributor is depleted. Easy on the power distributor. Also burst lasers have better armor pericing so they do more damage against hulls - and since they're lasers they don't suffer the damage penalty kinetic weapons do when you use smaller weapons against larger hulls (I think). You control your own spaceship in which you can participate in exploring a 1:1 scale Milky Way, trade between star systems, participate in bounty-hunting wanted ships, and … Belial8915 - you making the burst sound too good.
