I love the style and look of the wood elves so I decided to give them a crack. As is, infantry just pass through themUhmmmm asking for wild riders buffs is maybe too much, these guys are more than amazing now. I expect at least the same from Warhammer 2 when I play the Woodelves, but alas, it is not to be: the numbers are INCREDIBLY FUCKED UP.
I suggest having 2-4 in your stack when possible.while I'm sure they're great in their own way, I could not find a good use for Wildwood Rangers. For more information please read our FAQ’s

After playing through the entire campaign I can clearly see why it is, without a doubt, the worst faction to play in the game. Waywatchers are incredibly powerful, but expensive. They are already excellent defensive units(charge defense bonus against large for example) and align very well with a range-intensive army strategy.I found the wood elves, for me, were arguably the most effective fighting force in all the campaigns I fought. 360 firing and fire on the move is rather important as is that 10 range.

All three schools are fantastic, but Life is my favorite. Compared with the enormous process of building an empire up from the ground with say Empire, Dwarves or High Elves, there's practically nothing to be done with the Wood Elves once you have complete control over Athel Loren. Until then just kill and sack anyone you don't want to trade.I was going for the selfraid 6 turns thing in my current Welvs campaign. And don't forget to focus your fire from archers on high priority units and big dudes.
