As I read Acceptance there is a balance between Henry and Saul.Early in his research he identifies, before the formation of Area X, that it would be characterised by “necromantic doubling” - which is literally cloning the dead.
The Gloria / fish metaphor works both ways, that Area X might ignorantly damage its subjects, and that humanity might ignorantly damage its environment. Thanks for sharing. Jeff: sure!
