I don't know why those other guys said that there were no huge burst lasers, because I've found one. They seem to have more consistent damage out to 1k despite having an earlier damage falloff start, and if you go for effecient pulse, you can usually keep them fed with only 1 pip into weapons except incases where you have a woefully underclass Distributor (Like in Cargo ships and some multirole ships)
I would get a 4A beam laser, but they don't have any good mods that you can do to them. Im in Pikum, Prunariu Gateway seems to sell them. I have a 4A pulse, and I want to get a burst, but I was trying to find a size 4 burst that is class A, but I can only find a 4E (gimballed). just enter them in edshipyard and look at what you care for! . i use right now 3 large long range pulse, at 1km+ you do full damage out to 6km.
