Tommy Thomas (Harvey Keitel) was not happy when his daughter Tina got involved with Gabe Watson (Billy Miller). It's not abstract art, and viewers should not have to draw their own conclusions. He gives him nuances that show how deep the man's pain runs.Usually Keitel blows any actor who plays opposite him off the screen but in this movie Miller matches him move for move and depth for depth. That's exactly how I feel Honeymoon ended—on a note of enigmatic uncertainty that tells the viewer, "we quit—you do the rest of the work." Whether or not it is actually close to the truth will never be known.
