My wife loved the salmon gyro. We ordered during that storm of wind and rain. Staff was very nice, though! We went back to try it in a Monday to take advantage of their $10 dinner special, and we're really glad we did! In good weather the end of the bar is open to the street and there are also tables outside.

I visited Caleb and Broad for the RI Food Fights burger competition. The place was absolutely mobbed and by the time we ordered it would've been past 2am (which would've been well past their kitchen closing). Staff was very nice, though! Soon after his experience working in NC, he moved to Baltimore to be the Executive Chef of a 440 room hotel. For the entree I had the Duck Confit with garlic mashed and spinach and a poached egg. The fish was way better than the steak. Their kitchen closes at 11 which we had not realized until we sat down. The duck confit had many distinct components that were by no means necessary, but greatly complimented the dish.
The waitstaff exploded how everything was working ( no mask needed at table, menu online). Location is awesome especially in the summer with outdoor area.A disappointingly small selection of draft beers but a nice, comfortable, small bar. In addition to the gallery, local artist, Ry Smith, painted a 21 foot mural that highlights a motley crew of Rhode Island icons, monuments, movies and more. I had the duck confit, but I also tried a little of the mac and cheese and the cod.
Because of the reviews we tried the pretzels and cheese and they were great! Cades Cove is a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains and is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. I enjoy the ambiance. Got there around 630 on a Wed night, was pretty empty except for a few barflies and a few people in the outdoor dining area.
