During my visit to Solvang, I enjoyed a room at a boutique hotel ripped from the pages of an exclusive travel magazine. No traffic until later.

We dined at other restaurants for dinner so didn’t get to try the Bistro, but knowing that it was a convenient option was a plus.Another great amenity that I’m keeping in mind for future stays at the inn is its spa, Haven Day Spa, which offers a wide range of massages and body therapies.

From the outside, discerning travelers may be quick to snub As it turns out, the inn was recently renovated, making it one of the nicer boutique hotels in Solvang.  Our room on the hotel’s upper level featured cozy décor, a comfortable king bed, and an electric fireplace which we put to use at night despite the lingering summertime heat.And while our bathroom was devoid of marble and pristine glass shower doors, it was clean and had modern fixtures. The recently remodeled resort hotel offers 123 guest rooms and luxury suites.
