The doll maker seems less than interested. This time Robert is joined by two new dolls who are very Puppet Master in their design and they end up on a plane with what I presume are KGB agents although its never really said.

The addition of a doll who has machine guns for arms is the best aspect of the film but overall they should have spent more time on the plane where the most interesting action takes place.

Wth! And it is hard not to be drawn in to films that have ridiculous premises, but have a little potential to be halfway entertaining and creepy if any degree of effort was put into them. In this chilling story based on real life events a family experience terrifying supernatural occurrences when their son acquires a vintage doll called Robert. Part four I thought was half of a good movie with the train scenes being awesome but the first half not so much and its similar here with the plane stuff in the second half of the movie being the best part of the whole thing.

If you enjoyed puppet master back in the day you'll enjoy this one too! I appreciate the effort of making small budget movies like this. …

I'm looking forward to checking out and review the whole franchise.

It is 1951 Russia and Stalin doesn't have long to live. Fasten your seat belt and prepare for blood soaked toy terror at 30,000 feet.

First off ignore the idiot above comparing leprechaun to Robert. You can tell the makers are just having a good time with the absurdness of it all and seems to push every new movie into surprising directions.

But the Toymaker’s living creations have followed them. In 1951 USSR, as the Cold War intensifies, infamous dictator Joseph Stalin is suffering with illness and his death is imminent.

It isn't a great decision: Lee Bane is a mainstay of Jones' productions and often turns in fine performances, but once again, he is buried under 'old man' make-up from which no-one could make much of an impression. Part one was a bit of a Childs Play rip off and they were aiming for the creepiness in that one and they were still semi serious in part two but by the time part three came along they had the doll fighting Nazis so you know the filmmakers are just joking around with it at that point. The best part of this one is the addition of the two new dolls a cyclops girl with freddy Krueger fingers and a skeleton soldier with gun hands. But the laughs are plenty with pitch black comedy throughout and the Toymaker character acting even more over the top in this one than in any of the other movies.

Film Noir. 0 out of 0 found this helpful If i was allowed, I would rate it in the lowest minuses...wasted 1.5 hours on this absurd, pathetic movie...garbage, utter waste...total nonsense... surprised to see this movie getting 5/7 starts from many...not worth even -5 stars...better utilise your time in something else...this movie would just lead to frustration amd irritation...funny part is when the movie would end, you wouldn't know whether to laugh, cry or hit yourself with a baseball bat multiple times for watching this idiotic movie.

to focus on reviewing some Indie movies, Robert franchise was one of the first to catch my attention and I'm glad to start by reviewing this little spin-off, I watched it without paying any attention to the typical "1 star" haters reviews and I urge anyone who decides to watch this movie to neglect these negative reviews.
