They just jam up too often. To update the firmware you have to first download it, then disconnect your computer from your WiFi, connect it to the printer's WiFi and cross your fingers.
I wanted this for a specific purpose - printing postage labels. There are some downsides - it flatly refuses to update its firmware or to even see my wireless network, let alone connect to it, so I have to connect via USB which is fine, but if it worked wirelessly then both the Macs in my office could print to it. A cartridge system so easy that the labels load automatically once you drop the cartridge into the printer.
