Food was expensive and overrated.the door was kept open despite asking 4 times to close. We arrived late at about 9:30 and they were very friendly and offered us a place at the bar as the restaurant was super busy and we didn't reservea a table. No ambience, no background music, terrible food so much so that we were willing to...Enjoyed a nice glass of sake at the bar last night. Small restaurant with a separate, private dining area for larger groups, or the approx 24 seater main area.
Our dishes are now available for ordering on Dineplan for home delivery. We had the best meal of our lives - beautiful Miso soup and even amazing Miso Icecream! We were all blown away. Some of us left the place rightaway because of this, but were called back by the woman who made the reservation. Landing Kyoto Garden 2020-06-05T14:03:32+02:00. Service was excellent, the owner was professional and engaging. We waited 45minutes for a table we booked st 8pm. The owner never once apologised. He did so loudly in front of the entire group, which is inexcusable. It tasted amazing!!
The sushi was amazing, we could even watch the chef preparing it in front of our eyes. The bartender was very helpful at explaining and suggesting what sake would be the best.We were visiting Cape Town from the US and staying at the hotel across the street so we decided to pop in for dinner. Many better sushi restaurants out there. Please just ask when you are seated. A friend and I stopped in for dinner while visiting Cape Town. But when we got to the restaurant on time we were poorly greated and we had to wait...Arriving early on a Friday evening, we were greeted with a friendly smile and taken to our table.
