Currently burst is the most efficient dps/distributor draw wise!
However, now that I own a Cutter, i'm seeing the value of laser turrets. Am I right in assuming that these are only Give up on bursts entirely.
Marco Qwent is one of two unimportant engineers, only needed as a stepping stone to get other engineers. Rapid Fire is also an option, but mainly on Pulse Lasers to apply phasing. For PvE, I'd recommend either Efficient Bursts (best DPE), Efficient Beams (Worse DPE but better DPS and Falloff) or Long Range Bursts. Might that be causing the overheating? By using our Services or clicking I agree, you agree to our use of cookies.

Burst lasers are basically pulse lasers, but fire three times instead of once.
I want to engineer the gimballed lasers on my vulture but I'm not sure what to go for. Burst laser engineering. In order to use a blueprint grade (other than grade 1), you must first get the stats of the previous grade to 70% of their maximum value, as well as have the appropriate engineer unlock level. Phasing sequence sounds the most useful tbh.they affect NPCs, scramble spectrum is especially entertaining.I have efficient bursts on my corvette and like them, and am thinking of going rapid fire for my PvP FAS.I very recently rolled a pair of Efficient Thermal Shock Burst Lasers but from my superficial testing thus far in PvE, I cannot detect anything different. Mar 30, 2018 @ 4:02pm Best laser mods? Belial8915 - you making the burst sound too good.
Quite a bit. To advance an engineers unlock level, you can use their blueprints, or in some cases perform other actions such as selling exploration data.
Part 2: Wanted to know if there are any changes since my last weapon test so here we go - which weapon is most energy efficient .
Elite dangerous pulse laser engineer I went with large overcharged pulse lasers , and medium efficient pulse lasers on my upper hardpoints of my python. It has the capacitor, damage PER successful burst, with the exact same statistic of a pulse laser, in 1 of 3, of its full burst. Each engineer has 3 prerequisites before they can be used:
All the other benefits would mean easier pip management.
Any advice would be helpful.Stick with efficient burst lasers. Grab your best exploration ship, and plan a … You HAVE to be Elite.
I got a good roll on my weapons capacity, it only has a - capacity.
a Burst laser is 3 pulse laser shots-in one.
For players who’ve done ship engineering it’s a matter of personal opinion if the new process is better or worse. I just unlocked the dweller and im not sure which mods are actually worth using.
It is not endorsed by nor reflects the views or opinions of Frontier Developments and no employee of Frontier Developments was involved in the making of it. Every time a blueprint of a given grade is used, the positive stats increase from the blueprints minimum towards its maximum, and the negative stats are set to the values shown on the blueprint.
Elite Dangerous. Cons: low damage increase (at most, 9% increase, which doesn't sound like a lot tbh).Switch to overcharged. There's three different types of thermal ones, and was just wondering if any one did better than … Experimental effects are simple additions to a module that have a one-time cost, offer specific stat changes, can be applied regardless of the chosen blueprint, and carry over when advancing grades. now, techneticum...intertial damage bursts miss a fuck ton to the point where i just stopped using them so i could keep my beams on longer....really disappointing :(3) Rapid fire. And G5 Efficient Beams are quite nice for the damage.i'm considerring going with medium gimballed rapid fire inertial damage burst lasers (damn...). Or is Inara wrong?Something else?
At G5 the only real drawback is the rate of fire decrease, but this can be mitigated entirely with a good roll. They are modded to be efficient because I was using two railguns in the medium slots as an experiment, and having the lower capacity draw and heat efficiency I thought was valuable for that combination (turns out railguns overheat regardless).I no longer use railguns, replacing them with two seeker missile racks instead (again, to experiment. I would really appreciate some feedback and thank you in advanced.
I'm running a fas with all Burst lasers for fully npc killing purposes and I'm wondering what would be the best mods to put on them. These effects can work with the chosen blueprint to improve the positives, reduce the negatives, or do something else entirely. have `one` of each then,, you`ll have the best of both worlds. Large Pulse vs Burst vs Beam Laser. o7I normally will run only one burst laser specifically for the That does sound very interesting but I don't have the beam engineer unlocked yet.
Does the rate of fire increase and thus higher DPS outweigh the jitter issue? Elite Dangerous. On the other hand targets will take more damage and so will die much quicker.Rapid fire. Below is a table showing all 20 engineers, how they can be discovered and unlocked, and what blueprints they have. Heat has subsequently stopped being a problem, and I'm wondering if I should mod my burst lasers into something else instead. At the moment I only have The Dweller unlocked.
Wrong on a second count. I've mostly used multi-cannons. However I have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to modding my weapons and would like to know if there is a better choice for modifications. Can you tell which module has been affected?New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castA place for Elite:Dangerous CMDRs to get feedback and help on their ship loadout.Press J to jump to the feed. The Burst Laser inflicts thermal damage, making it very effective against shields and less effective against armour. Burst laser: Less efficient, higher power use, higher cost, higher heat, better vs hull and higher dps (burst). I never really used them. Usage. The DPS on Burst isn't so much better than that of pulse.
