I bought these to use at large family gatherings. That said, it's not that noticeable. The manufacturer had not smoothed /filed item out. The stickers were the green diamond with the Shannon logo on it. They are packed away most of the year anyway so I will continue to use them at large family dinners.

I have 24 of this glass in the ice tea, wine and champagne and use them everyday as well as for parties. They seemed to be unpolished along the seams and were very roughly raised to the touch.

They aren't Waterford so if you are expecting them to be of that caliber you will be disappointed, but they are very nice we have been enjoying them for years. The Dublin pattern is offered in a variety of shapes and sizes. They look nice on the table, but are rather heavy and have obvious seams.
