This book is an excellent companion to Susan Wright's UFO Headquarters, which deals more with the Groom Lake base. On one hand, the author immerses himself in the 1990s-era alien-UFO-conspiracy miasma, attending Roswell-themed conventions and the rising star of a certain Bob Lazar, who claimed to have been an Area 51 consultant who actually got to see and try to reverse-engineer captured ET spacecraft for the US government.
